Privacy Policy

The short version

When you use our advertise, claim, contact, or submit-a-spot forms, you give us your contact details and whatever you write in the form. We use that information only to review your message and reply. We do not sell your information. We do not auto-publish anything you submit. We keep submissions only as long as needed to handle them, and you can ask us to correct or delete your details at any time.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through our forms. Depending on the form, that may include:

• Your name and email address.
• A phone number, if you choose to share one.
• The shop name, location, or details you write into the form.
• The contents of your message to us.

Each form submission is stored with a reference number (receipt ID) that we show you on the confirmation screen. We also store basic technical metadata about the submission, such as the time it was received.

We do not currently process payments through this site, so we do not collect or store payment card numbers here.

How we use your information

• To read, review, and respond to your message or request.
• To verify ownership when a shop owner asks us to claim or update a listing.
• To consider a suggested new listing — but only a human reviewer decides whether anything is published, and only after verification.
• To maintain a record of the request so we can follow up and avoid duplicate work.

We use your information to operate the directory. We do not sell or rent the information you submit through these forms, and we do not use it to send you promotional email unless you separately ask us to.

Auto-publishing and listings

Submitting a shop, correction, or claim through our forms does notpublish anything to the public directory. Every submission is reviewed by a person before any change appears on the site. The confirmation receipt you receive only confirms that we got your message — not that a listing was created or changed.

Paid tiers and ownership verification

A paid Featured or Sponsored tier changes how prominently a listing is shown — its placement and which contact details appear. It does notchange our editorial description, ratings, or assessment of a shop. Ownership verification confirms that the person contacting us about a listing is authorized to do so; it is not an endorsement of the shop's quality and does not mean we rank the shop higher for quality reasons.

How long we keep submissions

We keep form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request and keep a record of what we did. Submissions that are closed and no longer needed are removed on a routine basis. If you want a specific submission deleted sooner, contact us (see below) and include your reference number.

Analytics

This site may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not fire advertising or conversion-tracking events when you submit a form until after our server has confirmed it received your message.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we have from your submissions.
• Ask us to correct something inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete a submission you sent us.

To make any of these requests, use our contact form and include your reference number if you have one. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's privacy

Our forms are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through these forms.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above and keep the current version on this page.
